National Kidney Foudation To Host The “UNDER THE BIG TOP” Pheast Gala Event At The Kemp Auto Museum
Event To Feature Circus Arts, Live Music Performances

Chesterfield, Missouri – The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) will be hosting their 23rd Annual Pheast Gala blacktie dinner auction – “Under The Big Top” - on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Kemp Auto Museum in the Chesterfield Valley.

The “Under The Big Top” Pheast Gala event will take place from 5:30 until 11:00 pm and will start with the cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by dinner and the live auction. Guests will also enjoy live music from multiple bands and circus arts performances. The highlight of the evening will be the annual delectable dessert buffet prepared by the physicians within the NKF community, with the “chef extraordinaire” title to be awarded at the completion of the dessert competition.

The event is chaired by Keith and Cindi Guller and Dr. Paul Mennes. Matt Koch, MD will be presented with the Award of Excellence, NKF's most prestigious honor.
The National Kidney Foundation, Inc., a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. Formerly known as the Physicians’ Pheast, the name was changed to show that this is a community event open to all those who support the NKF mission.

“We’re honored that the National Kidney Foundation selected the Kemp Auto Museum to host their Pheast Gala,” The theme of ‘Under The Big Top’ should create a fun and festive atmosphere,” notes Museum General Manager Allison Hershberger. She adds, “We are anticipating that their guests will enjoy a great evening with top-notch catering and entertainment.”
