St. Louis, Missouri – Members of the press are invited to an exclusive preview at Macy’s Chesterfield to celebrate the opening of “From Aisles to Avenues” an exhibition of Crosley automobiles. This showcase, which opens at the Kemp Auto Museum Oct. 3, 2012, focuses on automobiles retailed and sold at Macy’s between 1939 and 1952.

A 1947 Crosley Sedan will be presented during the preview at Macy’s Chesterfield and in the ongoing in-store exhibition from September 26-October 1, 2012; with a Crosley in-store event for the public happening on Saturday, September 29 from 12pm-2pm. Features vintage costumes packs for kids, big band music, live swing dancers, live 40s-inspired models and fun with a photo booth

The press preview will take place from 9 to 10 a.m., after a gourmet breakfast provided by Macy’s. The program will feature guided talks with guest museum curators, Macy’s officials, and members of the Crosley Automobile Club of America. The in-store presentation will open to the public immediately following the preview and run through Oct. 1, 2012.
